CES- 2008: Asus R50A UMPC introduced

At the recently concluded exhibition CES- 2008, Asus showed its new development - UMPC R50A. On the new release date and price on it, nothing is known, and information about the technical characteristics are very few. But even the known facts would be enough to look forward to the release device and plan to purchase. R50A runs on Intel Silverthorne processor with a clock frequency of 1.3 GHz and Intel Poulsbo chipset.

The RAM is 1 GB and 5.6- inch touchscreen display supports a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. We also know that this UMPC will be built in modules WiFi, Bluetooth ( standards not specified) and GPS, and camera. And manage all of this will be through the operating system Microsoft Windows Vista. Design of the device is quite accurate and no frills.
